Who We Are
Since 1981, Trinity Lutheran School (previously Waucousta Lutheran) has been preparing students for success in this life and for eternity. Children in grades K4-8 learn, grow, and achieve in an environment enriched with Christian teachings.
Trinity Lutheran School centers all of its academics and programs on Christ. The most important goal at TLCS is to teach each child the love of Jesus. Daily devotions, prayer, Bible study, and Christ-centered academics instill Christian values that last a lifetime. Our standardized test scores reveal that we are not an “average” school, but far above the norms.
Those who select TLCS are often asked to describe our school and its environment in one word. Overwhelmingly, parents choose the word “family.” We work together as a family of believers to help each individual reach their God-given potential. Parents are encouraged to be active participants in the education f their child.
A variety of co-curricular activities assist students in growing outside the classroom. Students compete in sports including soccer, basketball, and softball. We also offer student growth opportunities through choir, band, and forensics.
